BAM provides discretionary investment management of Self-Select PEPs, both as part of a wider investment portfolio and in isolation.

BAM Customers may appoint Adam and Company Investment Managers Limited, with whom BAM has a long-term association, as their PEP Manager for administration.

Based in Edinburgh, with branches in Glasgow, London, Manchester and Guernsey, Adam & Company is the wholly owned private banking subsidiary of the Royal Bank of Scotland.  Like BAM, Adam is regulated by the FSA and has built its reputation on supplying a service that other financial institutions no longer attempt to provide.  Through a long-term association BAM and Adam provide a personal approach that has almost vanished amongst larger institutions due to the growth of automation and anonymity.

Since 1998/99 it has no longer been possible to open new PEPS (see ISAs). Nevertheless, it is usually a straightforward matter to transfer existing PEPs to new managers. We are also happy to be appointed Agents to monitor PEP portfolios held elsewhere.
