David Smith
IT Manager

David is an experienced and highly skilled Information Technology manager. After starting and running his own retail IT company in Lancaster for 13 years, he then ran an IT consultancy business before joining the well known Lancaster accountancy practice Lonsdale & Partners (now Moore & Smalley) in 1998 to manage their IT systems services. He is a fully qualified Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer and joined Border in 2006.

Rachel Tilburn
Client Admin Manager

Rachel has lived locally all her life. She joined Border in 2003 and passed her Investment Administration Qualification in 2004.  She successfully completed her Certificate in Investment Management Qualification in 2008 and is a Chartered Member of the CISI.

Michelle Tallon
Office Manager

Michelle worked for Axa (Provincial Insurance) in Kendal for 9 years before joining BAM in 2000. She is married and lives in Kirkby Lonsdale.

Jenny Curwen
Administrator

Jenny was born in 1984 and attended school in Kirkby Lonsdale before gaining a degree in History and Politics at Durham University. She joined BAM in 2006 and lives in North Lancashire.

Janice Riley
Accounts

Janice was born and brought up in Ilkley, Yorkshire. She has lived in the Kirkby Lonsdale area for the last 14 years and joined BAM in 2007 after working for Lonsdale & Partners (now Moore & Smalley), Accountants, for the previous 6 years.

Ian Macgregor FCA
Company Accountant

Ian had worked for Moore and Smalley (Accountants) and its predecessor firms for more than 30 years before joining Border in May 2010.  Ian's main responsibility is the creation of internal reports.  Ian will be working for Border two days a week.
